The Hepa Media Filter Kit plays an integral part in the life of your vacuum cleaner.

This kit includes two filters, the Post Motor Filter is used to collect the dust that passes through the suction nozzle, helping prevent it from being spread around the room. If you find that dust is escaping your cleaner, then the filter may be clogged. If this happens the vacuum cleaners motor can become overheated as dust particles are not filtered out and make their way into the motor.

The High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter helps prevent asthma and other problems people have with allergies when vacuuming. The HEPA filter is a micrometer filter equipped to suck up soot, pollen, and most dust particles. It is capable of removing 99.995% of all air particles from the size of 0.3 microns because it uses special-size fibres and an electrostatic field.

Filters should be changed every three months, though it may be necessary to change it more often if there are children or pets in the home. If you dont change the filter, your vacuum will experience a loss of suction power and will not pick up dust particles properly.

IMPORTANT: Failure to clean your filters may result in air blockage, overheating and reduce the suction of your vacuum cleaner. Cleaning and replacing your filters regularly will help to maintain its best performance.
