The Thermostat in your tumble dryer controls heating functions.

It works by sensing what temperature is inside the dryer and regulates it accordingly. If your existing thermostat is faulty, your dryer may be either too hot, or too cold.

Any obstruction to the rate of airflow in your dryer will affect its operation and will certainly cause a failure of the thermostat, making this replacement essential.
